Mr. Farooq is a Barrister of the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and holds an LLB (Hons.) from the University of London, London.
Mr. Farooq’s role at FKM involves providing corporate advisory and commercial consultancy services to sponsors, equity investors, financiers, contractors, and public sector entities. He has extensive experience in structuring, development, and financing of concession-based projects and PPPs. He has advised clients on projects across a diverse range of industries and sectors, with particular focus on roads, toll roads and toll bridges.
Mr. Farooq provides comprehensive transactional advisory service to clients during all phases of such projects, including, assisting with due diligence matters, advising on project structuring and the negotiation and drafting of concession agreements, construction contracts, O&M agreements as well as financing and security packages.
Mr. Farooq has provided corporate advisory and commercial consultancy services to some of the largest public bodies and leading private/public companies of Pakistan.
