Mr. Aimal Amjad is an Associate at FKM, who primarily specializes in banking and construction related contentious matters. His expertise in dispute resolution through both traditional courts and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods, such as mediation and arbitration, has enabled him to effectively manage complex civil nature disputes on behalf of FKM’s clients before various civil courts, high courts, special tribunals, and quasi-judicial bodies across Pakistan.
Before joining FKM, Mr. Aimal worked at two renowned think tanks in Pakistan; the Research Society of International Law (RSIL) and the Centre of Excellence for International Law (CEIL) at the National Defence University (NDU). At RSIL and CEIL, he conducted extensive research and authored guides, toolkits, policy papers, advisory circulars, and legal memorandums, offering guidance to a number of government entities on a range of legal issues. Moreover, from 2021-2022, Mr. Aimal assumed the role of State Counsel in the Court of Honourable Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir of the Islamabad High Court, and in his capacity as State Counsel, he provided professional legal advice and representation to the office of the Chief Commissioner, Islamabad.
