Afzal has completed his LLB from University of London, UK in 2017 and his LLM from University of Glasgow, UK in 2019 with a specialization in international law, international finance law and International Investment law. Before joining Farooq, Khan & Mirza, Afzal has worked at notable firms such as Orr Dignam & Co and Vellani & Vellani and has also worked as an in-house lawyer at Inter State Gas Systems (Private) Limited.
Afzal joined Farooq, Khan & Mirza in 2022 and has extensive experience in public-private partnership projects, national and international project finance transactions, and M&A transactions.
His primary focus is on corporate transactional practice with particular focus on public private partnership projects. Afzal is also a visiting lecturer at the Roots Ivy International Law School..
