Personal Experience

Mr. Khan is a Barrister of the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and holds an LLB (Hons.) from the University of London, London.

Mr. Khan has a solid background in contentious legal work, regularly appearing before the High Courts of Pakistan in civil, commercial, and criminal disputes, and conducting several arbitrations. Mr. Khan has extensive experience undertaking general corporate advisory and commercial consultancy work for some of the largest public entities of Pakistan, including, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB), Fauji Cement Company Limited (FCCL), NHA and EOBI.

Mr. Khan has maintained an active litigation portfolio. He has provided representation to clients before judicial as well as quasi-judicial forums (including PTA, Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP), Intellectual Property Organization (IPO), Copyrights and Trademark Registry, and multiple arbitration panels). His litigation practice involves representation in a wide range of civil and commercial disputes related to, inter alia, the telecommunications sector, the construction sector, intellectual property rights, anti-dumping and banking matters, in particular, banking suits for recovery.

Mr. Khan’s forte is advising on contentious issues concerning FIDIC contracts as well as providing representation to civil works contractors before arbitration forums and subsequently before the courts of Pakistan. In 2017 he assisted clients in recovery of over rupees 1.5 billion. He also acts as an advisor on contract management for various civil works contractors in Pakistan.
